It’s depressing to see that the FPS genre is so exhausted (or popular) that there are actual companies hired to bust out games that need to ride the coattails of irrelevant fully established franchises.

I mean, what does the game have that has anything to really do with Batman? Nothing. It’s just another PvP FPS with customization and character models that remotely resemble a beloved DC flagship product.

Annoying enough that there’s a “Monopoly” game for everything, I sure hope there won’t be a FPS for everything in the future too. 8[

@sakurafire: Lmfao! Creating a premise of a game off of existing STORY material of a COMIC BOOK franchise is as easy as connecting 2 dots. The actual gameplay of the PvP FPS genre still largely has nothing to do with Batman, writing it off as “unique to the franchise” is like saying making a Sims game where you play as the Justice League is “unique”.

The company “felt” like it was a good idea because it’s the most popular/successful/money-making genre on the market. Don’t be a tool :/
