OP makes huge point about self ridicule, but I’m not that insecure about being a geek. :/

My problem with BBT? it’s low brow, lazy, referential & slapstick humor that relies heavily on the popularity of geek culture played out by dated two dimensional archetypes and filled with shallow inert relationships.

Oh, and it has a laugh track. Ugh.
